Welcome

I would like to warmly welcome you to Long Marston VA Church of England Primary School. I know that your child will enjoy our school and find their learning experiences both challenging and fulfilling. We are a small school which means I get to know every child really well. Threading through the decisions we make for your children is our school's motto 'Together we grow and flourish with hope'.

At Long Marston we aim to work in partnership with parents; we believe that a child’s education is enhanced when there is a positive relationship between home and school. Working together we can build each child’s confidence by creating a happy atmosphere and sharing high expectations of achievement and behaviour. Our school prides itself on its warm, welcoming and caring ethos. We know our children leave us as well rounded individuals who have the ability to thrive. Our curriculum is engaging, stimulating and fun and our children want to come to school. From running the daily mile to lighting fires at forest school, every day brings new experiences.

This website is designed to give you as much information about our school as possible but nothing tells you about a school quite like meeting the children in person. If you would like to find out more about us then I would be delighted to welcome you and share with you the learning journey experienced by the children at our school.
